The Commonwealth of Virginia mandates that all municipalities create and update a Comprehensive Plan for land use, roads, utilities, watershed protection, etc.
What about our quality of life, our shared values, our hopes for the future of our families, neighbors, and town?

As citizen-participants in the governing of Abingdon, we need to have our voices heard.
The Preamble of our Constitution opens with “We the People” — the government, at all levels, exists to serve the citizens.
